GRAND CANYON, Ariz. — North Country HealthCare is holding a community health and wellness festival for the Grand Canyon and Tusayan communities Oct. 27.
The event will take place at the Grand Canyon Recreation Center in Grand Canyon National Park (GCNP) from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The recreation center is located at 2 Mohave Street in Grand Canyon Village.
The health fair’s goal is to provide education about health, wellness and safety issues and provide an opportunity to meet representatives of health and wellness programs available at Grand Canyon National Park, Flagstaff and Tuba City.
There will be a chance to learn about the variety of health care program and services available. There will also be fun activity stations, balloon artists, face painting, as well as affordable health insurance assistance, behavioral health, dental screenings and more.
