By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Ministry of Health & Wellness (MOHW) welcomed 16 new Community Health Workers16 new Community Health Workers (CHWs) to complement the existing cadre of CHWs of the Western Regional Hospital, according to a social media post by the MOHW.
The post said Dr. Julio Sabido, CEO of the Ministry of Health & Wellness welcomed the Community Health Workers to the extended team of health workers.
“He congratulated them and encouraged them to serve their communities with pride and focus on improving access to public health in communities,” said the MOHW.
The new Community Health Workers are posted in different communities under Belmopan’s Western Regional Hospital. They are already officially serving their respective communities.
